[Johto, have an intensely displeased (one might even say pissed off) and rumpled looking woman (is that a piece of ceiling tile caught in her hair...?)--glaring daggers at the door that has just been slammed in her face, because that's what you do.
She hadn't even finished asking her questions. Rude, not!Mom. Very rude. At least the strange-looking creature that had been shoved out the door with her was helpful enough to find in the spilled contents of her backpack and hand her this device that looks a lot like a very odd cell phone. It's already on and everything, not that Ziva's noticed, wound up as she is. Her voice is slightly hysterical when she speaks--and definitely agitated, because dammit she has a lot to be agitated about.]
This is absurd! I would think that this was a dream, that I hit my head in the explosion and for some reason I imagine this place instead of somewhere that would make sense...!
[Yup, too agitated to speak English properly it would seem. At least, that doesn't sound like a complete sentence, more like she trailed off mid-thought.]
I cannot believe this. And you...
[She glances down at the Pokemon by her side--though in confusion and not in anger, that seems to have mostly blown out of her.]
You look like something from one of McGee's computer games. [To herself:] Oh...I hope that he is all right.

[Hopefully she can handle oddly dressed children right now.]
[Video]
Which is not where I should be.
[but sorry kid she's still angry. someone's messed with the momma wolf's pack and she's not there to chase them down and bite the shit out of them.]

Since time works funny here.

And what do you mean by that?

can it be
someone who is actually as raegfurious about landing here as he was on his first day
...well then.]
Explosion? What the hell happened to you?
[Because spoilers: you look like crap.]
video;
My office was the site of a terrorist attack.
[yup she's just as furious as you were. you can be fury buddies.]
video;
Hold the camera up to your face, as steady as you can. You remember anything hitting your head before you got here, debris that might've gotten in your eyes, anything sharp you landed on or heavy that landed on you?
[Because granted, she looks at least reasonably okay in the physical sense — the hysteria is a separate matter — but there's a lot he can't see over a video feed, and it might be pure adrenaline that's keeping her on her feet as opposed to an actual state of wellness.]
video;
I do not.

I don't know if this will make you feel better or worse, but I know I didn't hit my head before I woke up here.
[Voice]
It does not change the way I feel at all.

[That's his theory and he's sticking to it.]
[Voice]
...you are in this town as well?
[Obviously from her tone she considers 'town' to be...a bit generous of a term.]

[Oh, that could be a serious problem.]
Has--has anyone checked you for a concussion? Th-that should come first. If you need it, there's a local hospital--the medical technology here isn't the best, but they should be able to give you a basic physical. [He normally wouldn't approach someone he doesn't know, but seriously. Explosions. You should see a doctor.] I-if you like, I can try to explain things, but it's going to sound really strange.
[Audio]
Yes.
[She considers that--it doesn't look like there's a hospital around here. Nothing more than a few houses. Luckily, she knows the signs of a concussion, and doesn't feel odd at all.]
I am fine, thank you for your concern. I would rather know what is going on.
[And if her team is alright, but she doubts she's gonna be able to find that one out for a while. Unless they're here as well.]
[Audio]
[She's a grown woman. He's not going to badger her about her health.]
Well, uh. First of all, you're going to need to understand that there are a lot of things that won't make sense. We're still trying to understand why we're here, but so far, all we know is that this is a place called Johto, and people here come from all different kinds of worlds. It's a nexus.

...Ziva...?
[video] :C Hiccup let me hug you
...yes?
[video]
You don't... You don't remember me, do you? Or Laila?
[The Noctowl scuffles closer to the screen, even pushing her little viking son out of the way so she can be more visible, and hoots a soft greeting.]
