OLD: second [video/action for Cherrygrove]; backdated to 8/11
[Four days, and Ziva hadn't yet woken up to the dark, stuffy, nearly unbearably hot room that she'd spent the last month in.
She'd finally allowed herself to believe she might be safe--that this might be real.
Of course, just because she'd been suspicious of her circumstances didn't mean she was going to ignore them entirely--Ari was far too aggressive to be left untrained, and if she could handle his human namesake, she could certainly train a dog. By the time the two of them arrived in Cherrygrove, the Houndour was keeping to glares instead of growls. Better. She could deal with that.
She turns on the video feed for one simple reason--she doesn't know if Abby is there, and this seems to be the easiest way to find her. She's still a mess--there's no hairbrush or elastics to be found in Mom's bag so she'd had to make the best of it, and no water between the towns to bathe in. But she's wearing cleaner clothes at least, the trainer outfit she'd found in her bag might be weird and she's pretty sure if Tony were around she'd never hear the end of it--but they're clean and whole.]
Abby, Gus. I am in Cherrygrove.
[Waiting outside the Pokemon Center at that, Ari curled up at her feet and staring at anyone who gets too close, and her Hoothoot Lilit perched on one shoulder.]

[You're...far perkier than what she's used to dealing with. Or maybe she's just gotten used to Abby.
At least her Houndour isn't growling like he would have a couple days ago. Ziva gives him a hand signal to sit, which he does with a glare and a huff, then she nods to acknowledge the name.]
I'm Ziva. And you are welcome.

[Mihoshi tended to be all sorts of perky. But! That just made things better right? If she could be happy all the time so can everyone else!]
It's nice to meet you Ziva! I've never heard a name like that before. But I really shouldn't be surprised huh? There are all sorts of names out there! I mean there's just as many as there are stars right? Oh! And some stars have names too and planets and even space ships!
[..It's at this time her Teddiursa pats her leg to get her attention. Be thankful Ziva, if he didn't stop her rambling she could continue on for hours. Mihoshi trails off and picks him up to cuddle the bear.]
Oh! And I almost forgot! This is Teddi-chan.

[It's kinda overwhelming, really. She hasn't had much human contact over the last month or so, and what there was...wasn't good.]
It is a Hebrew name.
[She's grateful, most definitely. Thank you, Teddi-chan. Ziva motions towards the still sitting Houndour and the Hoothoot on her shoulder, in order.]
This is Ari, and Laila.

[Yes, those are the names of her pokemon so far. Unfortunately Mihoshi isn't that imaginative with names for them... yet. Just wait until she gets inspired.]
Um, I'm not familiar with what Hebrew is? It's from Earth right? I was living in Japan for a while before arriving here and that was only between my missions for the Galaxy Police so I'm not very familiar with the planet at all outside the the Honorable Grandfather's Shrine so.. um..
no subject
It is a language from Earth, yes. Spoken in Israel, which is located west of Japan.
...you are from another world?
no subject
[She nods enthusiastically at Ziva's question. It doesn't seem odd to her that she's from space after all. It's just something that happens!]
Yep! I was recently assigned patrol in the Sol system and even helped to apprehend the dangerous space criminal Kagato! With help but with how tough and dangerous it was, all the help was needed and my commanding officers were very happy that we won! Could you imagine what would have happened if we didn't? People could have died!
no subject
[That's...new. Ziva heard about the other worlds thing, she just...hasn't experienced it first hand. It's strange.]
I can imagine.
[Not that she has any idea who Kagato is.]

It would have been bad! It was so bad that the Crown Prince of Jurai had to get involved and his grandson. Tenchi was very heroic in battle! And he let me stay with him so he really is a nice guy because my ship was trapped in another dimension. Or at least that's what Ms. Washu said. But! She pulled it out and I'm able to do my patrols again.
Well.. um, except I'm here. So.. I guess I get to travel with these cute little things. But! Enough about me, I must be boring you. Sorry! Sometimes my mouth just gets away from me I guess huh?
no subject
Ah, it is fine. I am not always the most talkative person.
no subject
Really? Neither are some of my housemates at Tenchi's. But some of them really like to fight. I means Ms. Ayeka and Ryoko are constantly fighting! I really don't see why though I mean we all live there and Tenchi invited us all to live there so I don't get it.
Oh well. So um.. did you just get here? I mean to Cherrygrove? I've been here for a while now and I was thinking of heading to the next city soon.
no subject
[She glances at Ari, trying to make sure he's still obeying.]
I did, yes. I am meeting someone here.
no subject
[Mihoshi smiles as she cuddles the Teddiursa who looks a little resigned to the treatment.]
no subject
[And she knows nothing about your friends to say if they'd have fun or not. :C Such a conversationalist, Zi-va.]
no subject
[That's alright! Mihoshi talks enough for both of them!]
So are you supposed to meet them here?
no subject
[She definitely does.]
Yes.
no subject
[Even though she just came from there, it seems like she's willing to keep Ziva company if she wants.]
Do you want company while you wait? I'm not really going anywhere anytime soon and I haven't really found anyone to travel with yet so I guess that I'll have to move on soon if I want to get to the next city. Teddi-chan seems to be getting bored with this place and um.. I don't think there's really much more to do around here. Or at least I haven't really found much to do other than just sitting around and watching pokemon play around.
no subject
...if it will not trouble you, that would be fine.
no subject
[Unfortunately, if Ziva ever wants Mihoshi to go away, she's going to have to be blunt. Poor Mihoshi can be rather dense.]
no subject
[She might eventually...she'd just probably be...too blunt.]
no subject
Then you must be pretty new huh? I've been here a few weeks now I think but I haven't gotten very far yet.

But! I'll get it eventually right?
