I have seen and heard people discussing Christmas celebrations, the decorations appearing...it makes me wonder, how many of us celebrate in other ways during the winter season.
I may not be celebrating much of anything, as I am outside the city. Hanukkah is best spent with family and friends. Though I would not pass up some of the traditional food.

That would be nice. After being dropped in the forest, it will be good to return to the city. Not that I am against forests normally, but it is rather colder than I prefer, especially for travel.
[Especially for travel by foot. Ziva is not all too happy, though her survival skills mean she's not in too much trouble.]

Goldenrod has pretty much anything you can think of--I bet there's even a place that has some of that good traditional Hanukkah food you want. [Just focus on the good things, Ziva! Travel will be over soon.] I can help you stock up on warmer clothes for Winter, too. It's only going to get colder, from here...
[And he's pretty comfortable wearing his fall clothes, thanks to growing up on Berk. His clothes budget needs a dent made in it.]

[There's a bit of amusement in her voice there.]
I would not have wanted to carry so much anyway. It would only slow me down.
[voice]
[Treating Ziva like a newbie was sad.]
I'm lucky to be able to keep a few things at Albert's place in Saffron or the Other House in Goldenrod, if I need to.

[Less to ditch if you end up having to run for it. Less to leave a mark or trail. Old habits die hard.]
Jenny has been of great help in that regard. She may not be a fire Pokemon, but electricity will start a fire just as well.
[voice]
What kind of pokemon is she?
[voice]
A Luxio.
[Still sounds weird to say.]
[voice]
[And it got a little friendly with his pet sheep and saddled them with six eggs...]
Do you have other pokemon? I only know Eli, really.
[voice > video]
[Ziva turns on the video, showing her team as she walks. Well, some of them anyway--Eli, the afore mentioned Jenny, and her newest addition, a Growlithe that seems perfectly happy to run circles around all of them. And then pounce on Jenny's head and run away barking.]
...it is difficult to be bored here, is it not? Anyway, this is most of them. Malachi and Jimmy's lack of legs would make it harder for them to keep up.
[voice]
[Eeee, cuties.]
Heh. You had a Growlithe the last time you were here, too--but she was already evolved by the time I met her. What kind of pokemon are Malachi and Jimmy?
[voice]
[She already has it good for Abby...she's always been fond of dogs.]
A Venipede and a Shellos.
...these names are rather strange.
[voice]
[Point is that VICKY IS A COOL AND SO CAN YOU or something to that effect stated in a more grammatically correct fashion.
Also please wait a moment while his mind boggles at the prospect of someone catching a Shellos on purpose.]
I got a Shellos, too--only she's a Gastrodon, now. I can understand bits of the names sometimes, but yeah, they're...pretty strange. Which is normal for here, so I guess it's right on track.
[voice]
[It also seems to have gotten Abby's attention, if the barking is any indication. Or maybe that's just her playing with Jenny.
And she caught him because he was a victim of Eli's enthusiasm. She didn't just want to leave him there in a slimy heap. :C]
I suppose it is. And with the wide variety of creatures requiring a large variety of names, some of them are bound to be very strange.
