[video/action for Justice Haus]
[Oh great, more camera antics. This time it's a Growlithe nose, snuffling at the camera, then a flash of a mouth, a dizzy ride, and finally coming to a shaky rest covered in drool and twitching and light chewing sounds.
...never leave your phone, or Pokegear in this case, within reach of an inquisitive dog.
There's a lopsided view of a basement room, music playing in the background that's not mixing too incredibly well with the everpresent background music.
And then stockinged feet dance through the camera's shot. A few moments later, Ziva comes into full view (farther away this time), practicing ballet.
The video continues for a few minutes, until the song she's dancing to ends.]
It's been too long since I have done this...
[Ziva looks at the camera (still drool covered, though now the chewing has stopped,) and her eyes narrow.]
...Abby, drop that.
[She walks over as her Growlithe drops the Gear with a whine, and picks it up with an 'eww, dog drool' look on her face.]
I should have known to keep this out of her reach. I am sorry for that.
[Click. She'll answer calls after she sanitizes her gear.]

action;
She's moving quietly herself, despite the heels, and she comes about halfway down before stopping — still high enough that she's not intruding, but far enough that she's got a vantage point to see what it is that Ziva's doing.
And what it is she's doing...now that's intriguing.
It's tempting to offer a bout of applause as the means of drawing attention to her presence, but that's overly clichéd and better suited to a different moment than this one. So instead she proceeds down the stairs a little more noisily this time, far enough to come into view.]
I'm not interrupting, am I?
[SHE'S TOTALLY INTERRUPTING AND SHE KNOWS IT. Ah, well.]
action;
No, you aren't. Hello, Carmen.
action;
You're a pleasure to watch. Is ballet a hobby, or was that part of your training?
[One never knows.]
action;
Both. It began as a hobby, but having a wide set of skills was helpful in my training. But I have not practiced in quite some time. My teachers would be very disappointed.
[She could've gone undercover as a dancer at some point. She did as a lounge singer after all. But she wanted to be a dancer when she grew up, when she was a kid.]
action;
I can imagine a few ways they might come in handy. Though I admit most of my experience with dance comes from watching it, not participating.
[She takes another thoughtful bite of bagel and chews as she ponders.]
Part of the art is to make it look effortless despite its difficulty, and you've certainly accomplished that.
action;
The last few years, that has been most of my experience as well.
[She hasn't had the time for dance. Ah, adult life.]
That is mostly confidence.
action;
[She has to force the French a little, but it ultimately gets through despite the universal translator in effect.]
I can see, from a technical standpoint, every motion that goes into it, but when it comes to putting them together in practice...
[It's easier seen than done.]

Don't worry. By now, I'm used to seeing a pokémon's snout that up-close.
[It's part of his daily routine next to having a bowl of Wheaties.]
[audio]
It must be fairly common. They are curious creatures.
[audio]
That was good though. The dance, I mean.
[No really! He isn't a ballet connoisseur but she could probably kick the living shit out of someone with moves like that. Never underestimate a dancer.]
Maybe Abby wanted to record you.
[AKA HI! I'M REALLY BAD WITH SMALL TALK]
[audio]
Thank you.
[Or someone trained in Krav Maga...]
I think that she just wanted to chew on something new.
[audio]
[Note to self: Let Ziva do all of the fighting. All of it.]
Is that a hobby for you?
[audio]
Yes. I have not practiced in years, though...there's just never enough time. But here, we have a lot of it.

Hiccup could very well head on down the stairs and make his way towards the basement--if he wasn't buried by eight babies and three eggs, at the moment. Moving them would be a massive pain not only because several of them were prone to wailing, but because of the fresh bites now patched up along his left arm. This kid was going to give Albert his own health issues, with how prone to injuries he is.]
Better your pokegear than your leg. Not so easy to replace those--and it looks like yours are in use right now.
[video]
[Though she would likely notice leg-chewing, since both of hers are still attached.]
How are you feeling?
[Because you best believe that she knows about the dragon thing. Somehow.]
[video]
Also, you weren't schmoozing Albert for information, were you, Ziva?]
Alright... [He shoots an almost guilty look at his left arm, which is currently propped up on the napping Purrloin.] A little sore, but nothing I won't survive. I feel like an idiot, more than anything.
[video]
Sometimes you cannot predict an animal's actions, even those of ones as intelligent as these.
[...especially those of animals as intelligent as Pokemon, in her opinion.]
Do you need anything? Have you eaten yet?
[LET HER MOM ON YOU]
[video]
I should know by now that not every dragon is going to be alright with me right off the bat. I should have been more careful. [Especially since it had three heads, wow. He's all for Abbie NEVER GROWING UP, that's for sure.
One would think Hiccup would be used to being mommed, but nope.] N-no, I'm fine, heh. [He does manage a genuine grin, though.] Besides, you look like you're having fun. Wouldn't want to disturb that.
[video]
[Even if it was a painful one.]
It is fine. I enjoy cooking as well.
[Which means it's fun. LET HER FEED YOU. You need many sandwiches.]

Afternoon, Ziva. Done practising?
[action]
Hello, Cooper.
[As for the question, she tilts her head. IS IT THAT WEIRD?]
Yes.
[action]
I hadn't suspected you were a dancer. Are you classically trained?
[action]
I would not call myself a dancer, I have not practiced in quite a long time. It's a way to keep myself active without going outside in all...that.
[In the pause, she waves her hand toward the window. Is cold out there. And snowy.]
[action]
Well, regardless of the time passed between your sessions, I will point out that this one looked lovely.
[action]
Thank you. It did feel good, to practice again. Though I will not be ready to go on pointe anytime soon.
